I know it sounds pretty unimportant, but I just had to get it off of my back. Long story short, I intervened with a post that my sister breaking up with a current bf. While she had perfect reason to do so upon explanation, the ex's sister started this big verbal brawl in the replies about her, even though she's never even been witness to living with the two, so that's where I stepped in.
Luckily for me I actually visited my sister before moving back to Virginia, and she was unfortunately still stuck living with that piece of trash's family. He had little to no eye contact, and was completely antisocial. So I struck back to his sister's replies, and that had kept things quiet. Or so I thought. Unfortunately as I'd signed in after a long absence, I was left with a few scolding-type messages from the family as to not barge into affairs. That was the final nail in the coffin, so I decided to slip away from there.
So as for the whole aftermath, I'd hoped that I would have gotten some praise out of helping my sister out. Granted, she herself thanked me before I left, but getting a bunch of negative replies bested over one positive wasn't enough for me. I'm sure they understand at least why I left. Anyway, sorry for the vent guys. Hope everyone had a great Easter...
EDIT: For those of you who already have me on Facebook and are concerned about this journal, don't fret. As the title says, it was my main that I deactivated, the one that I have my friends on is from an alternate account used for online friends only.
Where have I been? What have I been doing?
I know it seems like I've been abandoning this place, but this year has really been putting some weight on my shoulders as far as I want to have some downtime.
So since 2014, I moved back with my parents due to homesickness. Well since then I've not only been helping them financially after moving to a new house, but I've had to partake in cutting yards with my stepdad while he's been struggling to get on disability insurance, all while I have SSI. Well here it is late 2018 and I'm still cutting grass for a living. Granted we don't really need the money to make ends meet anymore, but I've been using some of the earnings towards my own spendin

In case anyone's been worried about me (all two of you) I've been having a bit of a busy spring and summer with cutting grass to make ends meet for a little vacay that I have planned next month to visit some family down in Ohio. I'll be gone on the 9th but I should be returning by the 15th, but for now my schedule for online business has been one and off at the moment. I do have more uploads planned but I have to put all of that on hold either until the lawn cutting slows down or just after I come back. Nintendo Switch - One year later/my thoughts
March 3rd was the long awaited release of Nintendo's successor to the WiiU and preorder upon preorder were made before its wake. The first home console to also act as a portable system speculated many ideas of what games could be coming to Nintendo's shiny new tablet. Third party releases are slowly coming along nicely, and Nintendo themselves have given gamers plenty of replay value with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the outstanding Super Mario Odyssey.
Cut to a year later and we're still waiting for that online subscription service adding classic and familiar games of yesteryear that will be free to download, but as for me I'

You were right to defend your sister because she's family and I'm sure whatever evidence you had in her favour overweighted the family's evidence. Way I see it, they're just doing what you did, her ex' family is just defending him, as you were defending her. You really shouldn't take it too much to heart.
